Biostar officially announced the list of motherboards compatible with Microsoft’s new motherboards Windows 11 operating system. These supported motherboards use TPM 2.0 to ensure the best compatibility with the new operating system.
Intel | AMD | |
Z590 series | X570 series
B560 series | B550 series
B460 series | A520 series
H510 series | B450 series
B250 series | X470 series
X370 series | ||
B350 series | ||
A320 series |
This list is the list of Windows 11 motherboard series currently supported by Biostar, and will soon be expanded to other chipset models. The most significant lineup that is still missing is the Intel 300 series chipset and any Intel H series chipset (such as H270 and H370).
Biostar is the first manufacturer to officially provide a Windows 11 support list for its motherboards. We should see similar lists from other popular motherboard manufacturers (such as Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock, etc.).
This should make it easier to build a PC, because for novice PC builders who don’t know that features such as TPM 2.0 are now required to support Microsoft’s latest operating system, the new Windows 11 system requirements can easily be overlooked.
