Taiwan Foreign Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Wednesday Announce The Computex trade show in Taipei, Taiwan will return as a face-to-face event in late May 2022.
After two years of interruption due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Computex will be held in Halls 1 and 2 of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from May 24 to May 27, 2022. Beginning on October 6, the high-tech trade fair opened for the registration of international exhibitors. At the same time, TAITRA has not announced how many companies have pledged to participate in the event.
Taiwan has always been one of the global high-tech manufacturing centers. Therefore, Computex Taipei has not only local giants such as Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI, but also global technology giants such as AMD, Intel, and Nvidia. In other words, assuming that the pandemic will not worsen, these companies are expected to participate in the event next year.
One of the concerns about face-to-face trade shows is of course the continuing pandemic and whether Taiwan will be collectively immune by the beginning of Computex 2022. And the rest of the world. So far, TAITRA has not announced any security measures for participants and exhibitors, but it is reasonable for the organization to follow Taiwan’s rules and laws on this matter.
TAITRA traditionally promotes its Computex trade show in other countries and other exhibitions. To promote Computex 2022, the trade organization will tour #COMPUTEXisEverywhere to the United States, Spain, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Malaysia, Israel, and Germany.
