EVGA had previously hinted that it would produce the brand’s first model Motherboard with AMD chipsetToday, Vince “K|NGP|N” Lucido shared a photo of the X570 Dark motherboard on his personal homepage. Facebook account.
From the appearance of the motherboard, X570 Dark should meet the standard ATX form factor. Since we can only see the back of the motherboard, most of its specifications are still a mystery. The solder joints indicate that X570 Dark should have a very powerful power supply subsystem. The exact number of power phases is unknown, but it appears to have at least 16 phase designs. The 24-pin power connector and dual 8-pin EPS connectors are located on the right side of the motherboard.
From the layout point of view, X570 Dark may only have two DDR4 memory slots. The memory slot is probably located above the AM4 slot. There are also two PCIe x16 expansion slots with considerable space between them. This design will allow the motherboard to accommodate huge graphics cards, sometimes spanning up to three PCI slots. A traditional PCIe x4 expansion slot is also provided.
The M.2 slot of X570 Dark may be located between two PCIe x16 expansion slots. So there should be enough space to accommodate at least two M.2 slots, although we don’t know if there is a third M.2 slot in another location on the motherboard. We also found what appeared to be eight SATA III connectors.
In view of today’s trailer, EVGA will soon launch the X570 Dark motherboard. Of course, no one knows the price yet, but EVGA’s Dark series has always provided advanced features, so it is conceivable that the motherboard will have a high price tag.
