You will never have enough screens, even if some of them are inside your case.Gigabyte’s new product Aorus P1200W The power supply adopts a full-color LCD screen, which can display custom text, pictures, GIF, and even video on the LCD screen. Yes, imagine watching your favorite movie on the side of your PSU!
This is not the first time we have seen a power supply with a screen. This ASUS ROG Thor There is one, but it only shows power consumption, not your favorite movie. Of course, a more practical use case for the PSU screen is to display statistics such as fan speed or temperature.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not list the exact size or resolution of the screen, and we don’t know what its refresh rate is. Can you even play games on it? I think we must find out.
If a single screen cannot provide enough brilliance, Gigabyte will add some RGB advantages. Just below the screen is a thin RGB line and the Aorus logo, which can be adjusted in Gigabyte’s RGB software RGB Fusion 2.0.
Aimed at The best power supply, P1200W has all the bells and whistles of most high-end power supplies: 80-Plus Platinum rating, fully modular cable, 140mm fan, 15-7.5A input current, full range input voltage, >16ms hold time, active PFC and Japanese capacitors.
The P1200W brings a lot in a small package, with a 24-pin and 10-pin connector, two CPU EPS-12v power connectors, six peripheral connectors, and six PCIe connectors, and of course an LCD screen.
The power supply size is 150 x 160 x 86 mm, making it suitable for most ATX cases. However, if you want to be able to see the screen, you need to make sure that your case has a removable PSU shield, because most cases now have a shield that covers the entire lower part of the case.
Gigabyte did not disclose the price or delivery date, and as of press time, the link to purchase the product in its store did not work.
