GIGABYTE launches AMD X570S Gaming X motherboard

Gigabyte today announced another popular motherboard product line in the form of X570S Gaming X motherboard. Like all X570S motherboards, Gaming X avoids the active fan cooling on the X570 chipset, giving users more peace of mind in the event of a fan failure. Gaming X also opens up new options for cost-conscious buyers because it will be lower than the company’s Aorus brand motherboard Based on the same chipset.
Aesthetically, X570S Gaming X belongs to the industrial, black and gray color scheme, with an RGB strip on the bottom right of the motherboard (traditional direction). AMD’s Ryzen 5000, Ryzen 5000G, and Ryzen 3000 series are available out of the box-there is no need to update the BIOS before you choose a processor from these supported series.
ATX form factor Gigabyte X570S Gaming X has a powerful 12+2 phase VRM power supply subsystem and 50A DrMOS-powered by a 24-pin ATX and an 8-pin EPS connector. The 6-layer PCB improves the signal integrity of DRAM and PCIe devices.
The expansion product of this motherboard has two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots-one is used for the CPU wiring of the full x16 interface, enhanced for heavier graphics cards, and the other is limited to PCIe x2. There are three M.2 NVMe slots-they are all capable of concurrent PCIe 4.0 x4 operation (one CPU connection, the other two powered by the X570 chipset), two of which are covered with Gigabyte’s Thermal Guard radiator to increase temperature and energy efficiency Flow control. Two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots complete the PCIe expansion set. Still packaged on the PCB are six SATA III connectors; a 2.5 GbE, Realtek 8125B network controller; 8-channel on-board audio driven by Realtek’s ALC892 chipset; supports seven 5 Gbps USB 3.2 ports (I/O Four Type-A ports, an internal Type-C port, and two additional motherboard connectors on the panel are used for your chassis or other expansion options. The rear panel further has two additional 10 Gbps USB 3.2 ports (one Type-A , A Type-C), an HDMI 2.0 port, and a combined PS/2 port for mouse or keyboard.
No pricing information is available at the time of writing, but it is expected that the price of this motherboard will be lower than any Gigabyte Aorus motherboard.
