ATX form factor Gigabyte X570S Gaming X has a powerful 12+2 phase VRM power supply subsystem and 50A DrMOS-powered by a 24-pin ATX and an 8-pin EPS connector. The 6-layer PCB improves the signal integrity of DRAM and PCIe devices.
The expansion product of this motherboard has two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots-one is used for the CPU wiring of the full x16 interface, enhanced for heavier graphics cards, and the other is limited to PCIe x2. There are three M.2 NVMe slots-they are all capable of concurrent PCIe 4.0 x4 operation (one CPU connection, the other two powered by the X570 chipset), two of which are covered with Gigabyte’s Thermal Guard radiator to increase temperature and energy efficiency Flow control. Two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots complete the PCIe expansion set. Still packaged on the PCB are six SATA III connectors; a 2.5 GbE, Realtek 8125B network controller; 8-channel on-board audio driven by Realtek’s ALC892 chipset; supports seven 5 Gbps USB 3.2 ports (I/O Four Type-A ports, an internal Type-C port, and two additional motherboard connectors on the panel are used for your chassis or other expansion options.
