How to hack the SNES Classic console to add more games

[ad_1]
From Star Fox to Super Mario World, The Super Nintendo Game Console (SNES) has some of the most memorable games ever, and people still want to play them today.Although Nintendo stopped producing Super Nintendo mini game consoles in 2019, you can still buy SNES Classic Edition Today…if you are willing to pay twice the original suggested retail price of $79. Unfortunately, unless you know how to crack it, you will still be limited to a very small collection of games.
When I purchased my first SNES Classic, I was very happy to be able to play 20 pre-installed games in the library, including things like The secret of mana with Donkey Kong CountryNintendo does not provide an official way to add more games, but there is a simple SNES Classic hack that allows you to install more games, provided you have their ROMs. Please note that even downloading ROMs for games that you own or rip yourself is a legal gray area at best, so we won’t discuss them here.
However, if you have content available, here is an easy way to hack your SNES Classic to add more games to it. If you have one of the other mini game consoles, you can rest assured knowing that cracking NES Classic or Sega Genesis Mini game consoles should be almost the same.
If you currently own a SNES Classic, here are the items you need:
- Micro USB data cable – Need to connect the computer to the retro mini
- personal computer — Download software
How to hack the SNES console
1. download Gossip 2 CE And install it. Can we explain a little bit what Hakchi is and who made it?
2. Launch gossip. You should see the SNES Classic library on the left side of the program screen. These are the games originally added by Nintendo to the mini-game hangar.
3. Connect your SNES Classic to your PC Use your micro USB cable.
Note: If you insert SNES Classic before starting Hakchi, the program will not be able to detect your mini correctly. To avoid this situation, please insert your mini after opening the Hakchi program.
4. Choose to install and repair From the kernel menu in the upper left corner of the screen.
5. Click yes When asked whether to flash.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions. Wait for the restart process to complete before proceeding to the next step.
Please note: If your installation fails or is damaged for some reason, you can restore your mini to factory settings by selecting Kernel 7. Click the “Add more games” button In Hackchi and Choose ROM You want to add from the storage drive of your PC. You can execute one at a time or press CTRL + A to select all files in the folder. After importing the game into Hakchi, all games will be displayed under “New Application” or “Custom Game” on the left. 8. Click on each game title to view or modify Its box art, description and other game information. You can change any of these information to whatever you want, and your retro mini library screen will reflect this. Don’t like box art? change! Want to change the name of the game? Go! Customization is optional and interesting, but not required. 9. Choose a game You want to import. 10. Click the “Sync selected games with Mini” button. A new prompt will appear. 11. Click yes When asked “Have you flashed a custom kernel on your mini?” We have already completed this step in “Hakchi to Retro Mini”, so the answer is yes. If you see a prompt that says “Done”, you have successfully imported the game into your retro mini game! The game you imported should appear on the left under the “Custom Games” category in Hakchi. Now is the fun part! Plug your Retro Mini into any TV or monitor of your choice, and find the game you downloaded under the “Custom Games” or “New Applications” folder. Load each game and see if it works. If it works, please play until you are satisfied! Note: SNES Classic has 250MB of storage space. Each game you add requires approximately 0.2 to 6MB, so keep in mind the number of games you want to add to the system and how much free storage space you have. Test your game on SNES Classic
