Intel Alder Lake benchmarks with DDR4 memory | Intel® Developer Zone Tom’s Hardware

Intel Alder Lake chip, it will soon compete for a place on our list The most suitable CPU for gaming, Will be the first CPU to support DDR5 memory, which means that the new Z690 motherboard will have to follow suit. There are a lot of speculations about which new chipsets also support DDR4, and these new benchmarks may provide some answers-the test shows the Intel Core i7-12700K CPU paired with the DDR4 memory on the Z690 motherboard-it did a surprisingly good job Good.
Chip detective @TUM_APISAK Baseline found Puget Bench, But they seem to have been taken down since then.this Windows 11 The Pro-based system in question includes Intel’s 12th-generation Core i7-12700K processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, and 128GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. In addition, the Gigabyte motherboard is equipped with the Z690 chipset.
Intel’s new CPU was tested in three independent benchmark tests. Compared with Intel’s 11th generation CPU and AMD’s Ryzen 9, the scores returned by the test put the new Core i7-12700K in good condition.
Using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop for benchmark tests, the system scored 1565, 1114, and 1244, respectively. Of course, it is difficult to judge how good these numbers are without comparing them with other CPUs, but other benchmark tests on PugetSystems show that Alder Lake will top the list in every test.
In comparison, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X scored 981 in the Adobe Premiere Pro benchmark test, while the Core i7-12700K scored 1114. Alder Lake still won in the other two tests, but only barely.
It is important to note that these benchmarks should be reserved before the official release of the new processor. Test results may also vary based on other components used in the relevant system. In addition, the results show that even with DDR4 memory, Alder Lake may remain in good condition. Considering that the availability of DDR5 RAM may be limited (and expensive) at the beginning, many people may eventually stick to DDR4 in the foreseeable future.
As Rumored launch date Intel Alder Lake is approaching, and retailers are slowly starting to list the new Intel 600 series Motherboard. Just recently, we saw PC Canada lists nine ASUS Z690 Role model. Not all of these provide DDR5 memory support. Although we have not seen Gigabyte’s complete lineup, the manufacturer is likely to also provide a combination of DDR4 and DDR5 boards.
Considering that Intel’s 12th generation Alder Lake is about to be launched, we should soon start to see more Z690 motherboards on the market, and there is likely to be a DDR5 RAM list.
