When you can get the water cooling block built into the motherboard, why buy a separate water cooling block?Leading water block manufacturer EK and MSI jointly produce MPG X570S Carbon Fiber EK X, A high-end motherboard designed to take full advantage of the Ryzen 5000 series CPU.
Aimed at The best motherboard, AM4-socked MPG X570S Carbon EK X is equipped with a single unit, which can conveniently cool the CPU and VRM. This block is composed of nickel-plated electrolytic copper cold plate and CNC processed acrylic, with carbon fiber decoration, to pay tribute to the popular Carbon series motherboards.
Although the module is equipped with RGB, EK does not want to sacrifice cooling capacity, so it implements a flow indicator. The company also generously connects the leak tester to your favorite new water cycle.
Although EK seems to control MSI’s new ATX motherboard, we got a heavy 14+2 phase VRM, memory overclocking support up to 5300 MHz and two M.2 slots, both of which have full PCIe 4.0, and both Designed to be covered by MSI’s Frozr radiator.
As always, MSI includes the remaining high-end motherboard features such as Audio Boost 5, 2.5G LAN, Mystic Light, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, Bluetooth 5.2 and Intel Wi-Fi 6E. However, it does not have the advanced features that many other motherboards have, such as onboard power, BIOS flash memory, or CMOS clear buttons.
