A new cheating program, Tweet @AntiCheatPD, Is on the rise and is expected to be detected by anti-cheat services. By using artificial intelligence-based machine learning, the cheating application uses frames from the GPU to detect human contours in the game.
The manufacturer of this anti-cheat device (By ArsTechnica) Very confident in the undetectability of the program, because the application does not manipulate any game files, which is a typical way for cheaters to penetrate into the game.
The principle of cheating is to view the exact same frames from your GPU as when you were playing the game. Using machine learning, the app can detect human silhouettes and automatically fire at them through additional hardware that can manipulate mouse input.
To make the application more difficult to detect, the cheating program can also be run on a secondary computer with a capture card that inputs data from the video card of the main PC, such as a streaming computer.
The free version of the app is very basic, with simple trigger robot commands that can detect enemies and fire automatically when they approach your crosshairs, as well as some anti-recoil functions. However, just by “donating” $50, you can get a paid version of the app, which has full targeting robot functionality.
The purpose of the creators making this application is to “fight against cheaters who are currently rampant in modern FPS shooting games.” But tools designed to fight bad guys will never fall into the wrong hands, right?
